This project involved the design and project management of converting and linking the former forge to the back of the existing house and designing a two-storey side extension and porch. The client desired a contrasting outlook to the extensions, whilst providing open plan internal spaces.
The converted former forge was designed with vaulted ceilings and large expanse of glazed window and sliding bi-folding doors. An open tread timber stair with frameless glass balustrades was designed internally with a striking coloured kitchen. The external appearance was designed with timber cladding to meet the clients brief.
The Client has since moved residence and has contracted SDA to undertake a new scheme for their new property.
